Apply protective coating at S I Ferry Terminal

The Staten Island Ferry is a passenger ferry service operated by the New York City Department of Transportation that runs between the boroughs of Manhattan and Staten Island. The ferry departs Manhattan from the Staten Island Ferry Whitehall Terminal, South Ferry, at the southernmost tip of Manhattan near Battery Park.
Due to the passenger terminal’s proximity to water and natural elements, the railing in the passenger boarding areas had suffered severe rusting. The scope of work involved cleaning the railing and then coating the railings with a mixture of 2 different epoxies to provide rust resistance.
